Aoba Castle, also known as Sendai Castle, is a historic site located in Sendai. Built in the early 1600s by the famous samurai **Date Masamune**, it offers stunning views of the city and surrounding area. Although most of the castle is in ruins, the stone walls and a few reconstructed buildings still give you a glimpse of its former glory.
